Emergency crews were sent to Willis Pearson Avenue, in the Bilston area of the city, following reports the OAP had been injured by two dogs, which are not believed to be a banned breed.‌She died at the scene, the third fatality in a UK dog attack within a matter of days. The dogs involved in the latest attack were later destroyed after they continued to be aggressive towards emergency services.‌A 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being in charge of a dog that was dangerously out of control and caused injury resulting in death.
