Nine people were killed, and 13 others were injured, six critically, in a gun attack at Ayser Çalık Secondary School in the Onikişubat district of Kahramanmaraş province, southeastern Turkey, officials revealed Wednesday.
Interior Minister Mustafa Ciftci confirmed the incident, stating that emergency teams transferred the injured to nearby hospitals, where several remain in intensive care. The attacker, a 14-year-old eighth-grade student, also died at the scene.

Authorities said the student entered the school armed with five firearms and multiple magazines believed to belong to his father, a retired police officer. He opened fire indiscriminately inside two fifth-grade classrooms before turning the weapon on himself in what officials described as a murder-suicide.
Video: Shooter weirdly moving around in class before the attack:
Footage showing the attacker moments before the shooting caused wide controversy on social media over the student's unusual behavior. He was seen moving with both hands on his chin, in the shape of a gun.
In the clip, the boy was seen spinning around, walking and doing weird, unexplained movements, triggering debate whether this should be a sign for his teachers to notice that something is not right.
A person posted the clip and wrote, "— A video of the mu*rderer who carried out the school attack in Kahramanmaraş, taken in the classroom, has surfaced. The individual appears to be exhibiting strange movements."
Another said, "The kid was spinning around all weird, didn't they ever get suspicious from his movements or anything, I wonder."
