Starring Alicia Vikander alongside Luca Marinelli and Susan Sarandon, the project was penned by Bernardo Bertolucci alongside Ilaria Bernardini and Ludovica Rampoldi (“Primavera”). Currently in post, “The Echo Chamber” is produced by Indigo Film with Rai Cinema for Italy, and Versus in association with O’Brother Distribution for Belgium. Paradise City Sales previously worked with Indigo on “Primavera” which sold to more than 70 territories worldwide. Described as a love story between Leo and Anne as they “chase each other—coming close, drifting apart, and searching for their way back,” the synopsis reads. “They cannot let go, nor break free. Through the rooms, Ava’s voice echoes across time, carrying to the surface what endures—and what can no longer be held back.” Pallaoro’s debut feature “Medeas” screened on the Lido before winning multiple international awards, while “Hannah,” starring Charlotte Rampling, premiered in competition at Venice where Rampling won the Volpi Cup for best actress. The film later received a César nomination for best foreign film. His most recent feature, “Monica,” starring Trace Lysette and Patricia Clarkson, also competed for a Golden Lion at Venice.
