Dozens of reviews are in, and it’s a near-perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes. No easy feat.The movie is Obsession, and even if Hokum did not have its initial 94% Rotten Tomatoes score drop to a still-good 88%, Obsession still would have taken the crown with its 96%. Here’s the synopsis of the film:“After breaking the mysterious "One Wish Willow" to win his crush's heart, a hopeless romantic finds himself getting exactly what he asked for but soon discovers that some desires come at a dark, sinister price.”Unlike most of the other good horror movies of the year, I would be surprised if you knew any of the names in the cast. Michael Johnston plays the wishing boy in question, where he’s mainly just been in a handful of short TV show arcs. But I am more excited to see Inde Navarrette as the central obsessed girl, as I watched her for four seasons of Superman and Lois, the very good TV adaptation of the hero, where she played the daughter of Lana Lang, and sometimes-love interest to Jordan Kent.
