L’ancienne ministre Caroline Cayeux condamnée pour fraude fiscale
Accusée de fraude fiscale, l'ancienne ministre Caroline Cayeux, qui faisait partie du gouvernement de juillet à novembre 2022, a été reconnue coupable, ce lundi 11 mai. Au total, la ministre avait minoré sa richesse personnelle de l’ordre de 11,7 millions d’euros "pour un patrimoine net reconstitué de plus de 20 millions d’euros", a précisé le parquet. La justice l'a également condamnée pour fraude à l'impôt sur la fortune. Caroline Cayeux a été condamnée à dix mois de prison avec sursis, à 100.000 euros d’amende et deux ans d'inéligibilité.
