işbirliğinde düzenlenen "15 Temmuz Manşetleri Gazetecilik Atölyesi"nde gazeteciler, üniversite öğrencilerinin, kriz dönemlerinde doğru, hızlı ve sorumlu habercilik anlayışı kazanmalarını sağlamak amacıyla deneyimlerini paylaştı. Program, "Hafızayı Koru, Hakikati Yaz" sloganıyla Ankara Üniversitesi Cebeci Kampüsü Ahmet Taner Kışlalı Sanatevi'nde gerçekleştirildi. Ankara Üniversitesi Rektörü Prof. Dr. Necdet Ünüvar, programda yaptığı konuşmada, Fetullahçı Terör Örgütü'nü darbe girişiminde bulunduğu 15 Temmuz 2016 gecesi TBMM'de yaşananları kronolojik olarak kaleme aldığı "Gazi Meclis'te O Gece" kitabının hazırlık sürecini ve o gece yaşananları anlattı. Bir daha benzer bir olay yaşanmamasını dileyen Ünüvar, "Bu kitapta yazılan her şey, bir hakikatin ifadesi." dedi. Ünüvar, ekibiyle kitaba büyük emek verdiklerini belirterek, "İleride muhtemel benzeri problemle karşılaştığınız zaman milletin nasıl refleks gösterdiği, Cumhurbaşkanımızın nasıl bir söylemle, nasıl bir refleks geliştirdiği, oradaki gazetecilerin, idari çalışanların, milletvekillerinin nasıl bir refleks geliştirdiğini görmek, bilmek lazım." ifadelerini kullandı. Yaşananları unutmamanın ve bunları yazmanın önemine dikkati çeken Ünüvar, o gece Meclis'te görev yapan gazetecilerin geçtikleri haberlerle kamuoyunu bilgilendirme noktasında kıymetli bir iş yaptıklarını söyledi. Ankara Üniversitesi İletişim Fakültesi Dekanı Prof. Dr. Fatih Keskin ise 15 Temmuz'un, yakın tarihin kritik dönüm noktalarından biri olduğunu, o gece yalnızca demokrasinin değil halkın haber alma hakkı, basının sorumluluğu ve gazeteciliğin kamusal görevinin de büyük bir sınav verdiğini belirtti. Gazete manşetlerinin ise tarihin ilk taslakları olarak toplumun hafızasına yön veren önemli belgeler haline geldiğini dile getiren Keskin, şunları kaydetti: "Bugün gerçekleştireceğimiz bu atölye çalışması, sadece geçmişi değerlendiren akademik bir etkinlik değildir. Aynı zamanda genç iletişimcilerimizin kriz dönemlerinde gazeteciliğin etik sorumluluğunu, haber dili oluşturmanın önemini ve doğru bilgiye ulaşmanın değerini uygulamalı biçimde deneyimleyecekleri çok kıymetli bir eğitim ortamıdır. Program boyunca 33 öğrencimiz alanında uzman gazeteciler, editörler ve eğitmenlerle birlikte tam gün sürecek yoğun bir çalışma gerçekleştirecek. Haber üretim süreçlerinden manşet kurgusuna, editöryal değerlendirmeden kriz haberciliğine kadar birçok başlıkta hem teorik bilgi hem de uygulama deneyimi kazanacaklar. İnanıyorum ki bu çalışma, öğrencilerimizin mesleki gelişimlerine önemli katkılar sağlayacak, aynı zamanda üniversite ile sektör arasındaki işbirliğinin güçlenmesine de değerli bir örnek oluşturacaktır." Basın İlan Kurumu Ankara Bölge Müdürü Atakan Çelik de kurum öncülüğünde ülkenin 7 bölgesini temsilen belirlenen 7 üniversiteyle işbirliği içerisinde hayata geçirdikleri "15 Temmuz Manşetleri Gazetecilik Atölyesi"nin 4'üncü programını, Ankara Üniversitesi İletişim Fakültesi'nde gerçekleştirdiklerini söyledi. 15 Temmuz 2016'da Türk medyasının, eşine az rastlanır bir duruş sergilediğini ve haber nöbetini alnının akıyla tuttuğunu ifade eden Çelik, yaygın basın ve yerel basının, darbe girişiminde sadece darbecilere değil ülkenin özgürlüğüne göz dikmiş herkese cesaretini gösterdiğini dile getirdi. Darbe girişiminin üzerinden 10 yıl geçtiğini anımsatan Çelik, bu tür kalkışmalarda sesi kısılmak istenen ilk meslek grubunun gazeteciler ve medya kuruluşları olduğunu ve bu durumun gazeteciliğin önemini bir kez daha ortaya koyduğunu ifade etti. Çelik, hakikati susturmanın kolay olmadığını ve o gece de susturulamadığını belirterek "Basın İlan Kurumu olarak, ilk yıldan bugüne kadar 15 Temmuz'u hafızalarda yaşatacak birçok projeyi hayata geçirdik. Bugün 15 Temmuz Manşetleri Gazetecilik Atölyesi programımızda genç iletişimci arkadaşlarımızla birlikte hafızayı koruyacak, hakikati birlikte yazacağız. Kıymetli hocalarımızın anlatılarının ardından siz değerli arkadaşlarımız o gecenin medya kahramanlarının yerine kendinizi koyarak kendi haberinizi yazacak, kendi manşetinizi atacaksınız." diye konuştu. Anadolu Ajansının kuruluş sürecinden bahseden Çelik, "İstanbul ve Anadolu'daki münevverlerle birlikte Türk milletinin sesini dünyaya duyuracak bir ajans kuruluyor. Bu ajans niye kuruldu? Ne işe yaradı? 15 Temmuz'da Meclis bombalandığı zaman, biz o gece Coşkun Ergül ile birlikte haberleri geçtiğimiz zaman o münevverlerin Meclis açılmadan önce bir haber ajansını neden kurduklarını şimdi çok daha iyi anlıyorum. Bizim hikayemizi başkaları değil, hikayelerimizi bizim yazmamız gerekiyor. Eğer siz kendi hikayenizi yazmadığınız zaman hikayenizi birileri gelip sizin adınıza istediği şekli vererek yazıyor." ifadelerini kullandı. Programda, eski Anadolu Ajansı muhabiri Coşkun Ergül'ün de aralarında bulunduğu bazı gazeteciler, sektördeki tecrübelerini ve 15 Temmuz darbe girişimi sırasında yaşadıklarını anlattı.
