Yer yer sele yol açan yağış nedeniyle Eski Kabasakal Mahallesi'nde bazı ekili alanlar su altında kaldı, bölgede ulaşım güçlükle sağlandı. AFAD, Türk Kızılay, itfaiye ve iş makinelerinin sevk edildiği mahallede sel sularından etkilenen bir otomobilin yakınlarındaki bir bahçede mahsur kalan bir kişi iş makinesi aracılığıyla kurtarıldı. Bölgede yağışın zaman zaman etkisini azaltıp tekrar şiddetlendiği belirtildi. Selde kaybolduğu öne sürülen bir kişi için arama çalışması başlatıldı. Çalışmalar sonucu bu kişinin cesedi, vatandaşlarca kayıp olduğu belirtilen bölgeden yaklaşık 1 kilometre mesafedeki portakal bahçesinde bulundu. Cenaze savcının incelemesinin ardından otopsi yapılmak üzere Kozan Devlet Hastanesi morguna kaldırıldı. Kaymakam Bahattin Alp Arslanköylü de selin etkili olduğu bölgede incelemeler yaptı. AK Parti İl Başkanı Tamer Dağlı da bölgeye gelerek yetkililerden bilgi aldı. Sel nedeniyle bazı hayvanların öldüğü belirtildi. Yağışın etkisini yitirdiği bölgede ekiplerin inceleme ve kontrol çalışmaları sürüyor.
