KARACHI: Weather in the metropolis is expected to remain partly cloudy on Monday with chances of “thunderstorm or light to moderate rain”, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). Storm Dave forces plane to approach runway sideways in strong winds
An Aer Lingus passenger jet was forced to approach Dublin airport sideways for landing during severe gales and blustery showers brought by Storm Dave. Footage posted by Dublin airport on Saturday (4 April) shows the jet descending as strong gusts of wind make the wings uneven. Despite this, the pilot manages to straighten the aircraft and successfully lands.
