By CHARLOTTE KARP, SENIOR NEWS REPORTER Pitch Perfect star Rebel Wilson is being cross-examined for a third day in the defamation case against her by the lead actor in her directorial debut, The Deb.  Charlotte MacInnes launched civil proceedings after Wilson publicly accused her of complaining about sexual harassment by the film's senior producer, Amanda Ghost, after a sunset swim at Bondi Beach in September 2023. Ghost had a severe reaction to the cold, so MacInnes took her back to their Bondi penthouse rental and ran a hot bath. MacInnes also jumped into the bath because she was cold. Both were wearing swimmers. Wilson claims MacInnes later confided in her about how uncomfortable she felt about the situation. She has also accused MacInnes of lying about making the complaint about it after she was offered a record deal and a lead role in one of Ghost's other productions. MacInnes denies the sexual harassment occurred. She also denies making a complaint and lying about making a complaint in return for a music contract. Follow Daily Mail's live coverage. Rebel Wilson will be cross-examined for a third day by defamation barrister Sue Chrysanthou SC in the Federal Court in Sydney. On Wednesday, Wilson told the court she regularly receives information about Charlotte MacInnes from an Instagram group called the 'I hate Amanda Ghost fan club'. She explained that MacInnes blocked her on social media, so she can't look for herself. Wilson also claimed Ghost was spitting with rage when she found out that a young actor had allegedly accused her of sexual harassment. She told the court that she told Ghost about the alleged complaint during a walk to Bourke Street Bakery in Callan Park, in Sydney's inner-west, days after the Bondi incident. Wilson said: 'I remember her being very angry about Charlotte confiding in me.' Ms Chrysanthou said: 'She never said anything about Charlotte confiding in you - you're including that additional bit.' Wilson said: 'I can't tell you how she was feeling, I can tell you we walked down the road and she got very angry and I could see she was angry because she wears a retainer and she was forcefully speaking and spit was coming out of her mouth.' Ms Chrysanthou pointed out that Wilson had never mentioned Ghost being angry, to the point of spitting, before. She said: 'You made that up - you have never said that before today.' Wilson said: 'It's in my affidavit that she reacted angrily.' Ms Chrysanthou said: 'You also said in your affidavit that Ghost said Ms MacInnes was a "...lying idiot who cannot sing" - that's made up?' Wilson said: 'No, you included that to make Ms Ghost look bad.' Wilson was also asked why she organised a group trip to Hamilton Island for MacInnes and Ghost when she believed there was a sexual harassment claim between them. The getaway also took place soon after the ill-fated Bondi swim in September 2023. Ms Chrysanthou asked: 'You didn't think Ms MacInnes had been sexually harassed?' Wilson said she felt confused at the time, and she wasn't sure exactly what happened. No comments have so far been submitted.
