المصدر: GB News | Source: GB NewsIt was a disappointing evening for England, being held to a 0-0 draw against Ghana in a contest that lacked inspiration.
Harry Kane missed a golden opportunity in the second half after Nico O'Reilly hit the crossbar, as England were left frustrated.
Ghana arguably should have been awarded a penalty after Ezri Konsa appeared to bring down Prince Adu, but the VAR deemed the decision not enough to award a spotkick.
Carlos Queiroz, Ghana's manager, hit out at the officials over the decision, saying: "VAR went for a coffee."
Thomas Tuchel offered a calm reaction after the game, praising Ghana for their defensive display, while suggesting the Three Lions need to be more effective in front of goal.
He said: "I think full respect [to Ghana] and they defended with a lot of determination, with a lot of discipline, and with one of the most physical performances that I saw from a team defending. We had enough set-pieces to decide the match, but we were not clinical enough."
Six games to come today on day 14, including Scotland's final group stage match against Brazil.
A point will surely be enough to see the Tartan Army through to the round of 32, but they will need to produce their best performance of the tournament so far to stop Carlo Ancelotti's side.

Frustration for England as Three Lions draw 0-0 against Ghana
It was a frustrating evening for England fans, drawing with Ghana 0-0, in a game Thomas Tuchel described as "difficult".
The England boss said: "If one team tries to play and run against this deep block and you don't find the spaces and it's difficult for you to create chances, it can be difficult to watch.
"We always try to entertain our fans. It was difficult today. I hope they don't lose belief. There's a long way to go."
A win would have sent England through to the knockout stages, but they will now need to find a result against Panama to advance to the last 32.
