Woman dies after being pulled from water at Pembrokeshire beach

A woman has died after being pulled from the water at a Pembrokeshire beach. Police were called alongside paramedics to an incident at West Angle Bay at around 3pm on Sunday, May 24. A woman, aged 72, was pulled from the water and tragically died at the scene. Her death is not being treated as suspicious, police have said. A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: "Dyfed-Powys Police received a report at approximately 3.15pm on Sunday, May 24, regarding concerns for the welfare of a 72-year-old woman who was pulled from the water at West Angle Bay beach. "Despite efforts being made by emergency services, the woman tragically died. "The death is not being treated as suspicious, and next of kin have been made aware".
