Woman, 39, found dead in Swansea flat
A woman was found dead in her flat after failing to wake up. Kayleigh Marie Jellyman was unresponsive when housing staff tried to wake her ahead of a probation appointment. The 39-year-old from Swansea was pronounced dead just after 10am on Thursday, May 14. An inquest opening into her death held at Swansea Coroners’ Court on Thursday, May 28, heard how Ms Jellyman had been living at supported accommodation at Tontine Street in the Waun Wen area of Swansea. Ms Jellyman was found on her back on her bed fully clothed. Paramedics and police officers were called to the scene and Ms Jellyman was pronounced dead. Crime scene investigators were present at the scene, where drugs and drug paraphernalia were recovered. A post mortem was carried out by Dr Maurizio Brotto on May 19.
