Woman, 30, arrested in murder probe after woman in her 50s is found dead

Police were called to Ambrose Croft in Netherton at around 10am today where they found the body of the alleged victim. Officers say the death is being treated as 'unexplained' as enquiries continue to 'determine the full circumstances of what happened'. They added a woman, 30, from Netherton had been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody. A post mortem will be carried out to establish the cause of death. Photos from the scene show the area cordoned off as emergency service vehicles line the road. Forensics could also be seen coming and going from a building in the corner of a close. 'Although we have arrested a person in connection with the investigation, we are still appealing for anyone with information to come forward.'
