Woke Canadian woman living in US slapped teens for wearing MAGA clothing, cops say... now she's in ICE custody and will be DEPORTED

By WILL POTTER, US SENIOR NEWS REPORTER Published: 13:38, 15 July 2026 | Updated: 13:59, 15 July 2026 A Canadian woman living in New Jersey who allegedly slapped a teenage girl for wearing patriotic MAGA-branded clothing is set to be deported.  Kaitlyn Tracey, 33, allegedly filmed herself confronting the teen and her friends during Fourth of July celebrations on the Jersey Shore.  According to court documents, the group of friends were walking on the boardwalk when Tracey berated them for wearing 'patriotic colored' sweatpants, before slapping one of the girls across her face and body, per NJ.com. The sweatpants were reportedly emblazoned with the words 'Trump' and 'ICE', sparking fury from the leftist.   The victim was not injured in the alleged attack, and her age is redacted from the court documents.  Police said Tracey fled the scene but was identified following an investigation into the alleged assault, and she was arrested on Monday.  She is now facing charges of endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault, harassment and obstruction, and is set to be deported back to Canada.  Her husband Matthew Geroni shared a TikTok video of himself crying over her arrest, saying through tears: 'I need help... my wife is being detained by ICE.' He previously posted a video wishing cancer on every member of President Trump's family, including his youngest grandchildren.  Kaitlyn Tracey, 33, a Canadian woman who allegedly slapped a teenage girl for wearing patriotic MAGA-branded clothing over the July Fourth weekend, is set to be deported Tracey, 33, is now facing charges of endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault, harassment and obstruction, after police said she assaulted a teen girl for wearing sweatpants with 'Trump' and 'ICE' on them  Tracey had entered the United States with a passport in 2024, the court records show, and she had been living in Asbury Park in New Jersey with her husband.  It is unclear if she was there on a spousal visa or green card.   Her husband Geroni begged for money in his emotional TikTok video, saying he urgently needed an immigration attorney but 'I don't have any money, I am so f***ing broke.'  Geroni said he initially launched a GoFundMe to help get his wife out of Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention, but the fundraiser was pulled down after it was reported.  He claimed the fundraiser was pulled down due to it being reported by 'MAGA people', however GoFundMe policies dictate that fundraisers are not allowed if they are raising money for someone accused of crimes.  The Daily Mail has contacted GoFundMe for further information.  Geroni said his wife turned herself into police after discovering there was a warrant out for her arrest following the alleged slap on the Jersey Shore boardwalk.  He said she was initially held at the Ocean County jail before being moved to Delaney Hall, an ICE immigration center in New Jersey.  The husband did not mention his wife's alleged attack on the teenage girl in his pleas for help from his followers, at one point saying it was 'irrelevant.'  Tracey's husband Matthew Geroni previously shared a video on TikTok wishing cancer on President Trump's entire family - including his youngest grandchildren Tracey's husband Matthew Geroni shared videos to social media of him crying over his wife's arrest and saying the details of her allegedly assaulting a teenage girl are 'irrelevant'  Tracey was initially held at the Ocean County jail before being moved to Delaney Hall, an ICE immigration center in New Jersey 'I don't care what your opinions are of me or the situation,' he said in one video.
