By CAITLIN POWELL - NEWS REPORTER Published: 13:29, 15 May 2026 | Updated: 13:29, 15 May 2026 Two teenage girls have been arrested after they were recorded on camera pulling items from the shelves at a supermarket in northwest Brisbane. Queensland Police were called to a disturbance at the Keperra Woolworths in the Great Western Super Centre on Friday at about 3pm. 'The shop was evacuated and the two girls were taken into custody,' a spokesperson told the Daily Mail. 'There have been no charges laid at this time.' Footage recorded by shoppers and shared on social media showed the girls nonchalantly shrugging as they disrupted the store as customers looked on.  One of the teenagers was seen holding a phone to her ear while spraying a red drink across the checkout counters.  A bystander was heard quipping sarcastically: 'Good on youse (sic) guys, well done.'  In one clip, a shopper filmed the pair pulling boxes off shelves. Another showed two police officers striding through the supermarket towards the girls. Felicity Osborne, who works at Keirden Dry Cleaners beside the Woolworths, described the disturbance to The Courier Mail. 'The whole centre had to evacuate … (for) probably half an hour,' she said. 'There were a couple of people knocking everything off (the shelves).' She added that Woolworths had been left 'very messy' and would likely need to remain closed for the rest of the day.  The Daily Mail has contacted the Great Western Super Centre for comment.
