Two teenagers from Keighley have been spared jail despite robbing their classmate at knifepoint then humiliating him online.
Zain Khan, 19, of Kendal Mellor Court, and Nahid Ali, 19, of Oakworth Road carried out their vile attack at Airedale Park in Skipton.
The pair had lured a classmate from Craven College to the park, where he was threatened with a knife and beaten.
He was then forced to transfer money into Khan's bank account.
Both defendants pleaded guilty and were sentenced at Bradford Crown Court on August 7.
Two other teenagers involved in the incident were dealt with at a previous hearing and ordered to pay compensation.
On March 6, 2024, the victim visited the college cafe with Khan, whom he considered a friend.
Khan proposed they walk to Morrisons to buy some food.
During the walk, Khan produced a machete-type knife and forced the victim into woodland in the park - where Ali was lying in wait.
The victim was kicked and punched over and over again, and was left fearing for his life after the pair held a knife to his throat.
The attackers filmed the assault and posted the footage online.
Footage of the victim with a blade at his throat was seen by his mother.
The attackers stole the victim's phone and demanded he unlock his banking app before transferring a substantial sum to Khan's account.
Khan then demanded more, forcing the victim to call a friend who sent over even more money.

The total amount stolen exceeded £800.
The victim required hospital treatment for multiple haematomas to his head, temples and eye sockets, facial swelling, extensive bruising and abnormal breathing.
Khan received a two-year robbery sentence and a concurrent nine-month sentence for knife possession, both suspended for two years, alongside 240 hours of unpaid work.
Ali was given a 20-month suspended sentence for robbery and 200 hours of unpaid work.
Both also received rehabilitation activity requirements.
Detective Constable David Hunton, the investigating officer, said on Monday: "Our thoughts remain with the victim in this case who has not only suffered physically, but was left traumatised and unable to leave his own home at one point. I hope this outcome provides some closure for him and his family.
"It is hard to comprehend what went through the defendants' heads when they decided to carry out this terrifying and humiliating attack.
"They clearly planned it in advance and were not only content to violently attack their victim, but thought it was acceptable to film it and share it on social media.
"They have gone from college students straight into the criminal justice system as convicted and violent offenders.
"I hope they realise the gravity of their actions and get some help to take a different path from the appalling criminal one they have chosen."
