Video: Iran parades Khorramshahr-4 ballistic missile during rally
ALBAWABA - Iranians have taken part in a pro-government rally in Tehran Square on April 21, during which authorities in Iran took advantage to showcase their military ability by parading ballistic missiles.
This came as U.S. President Donald Trump announced the extension of the ceasefire deal with Iran on Tuesday.
During the rally, participants chanted "death to America", praised the country's commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force, Majid Mousavi, and called the Iranian army to "target Tel Aviv".
Rallies were held in different places in Tehran, where the army took the chance to display the Khorramshahr-4 (also called Kheibar) and the Ghadr ballistic missiles to show the country's military capabilities.
The IRGC says it is ready to confront any new aggression and will "inflict crushing blows" on its "enemy's remaining assets” in case of renewed fighting, Mehr news agency reports.
Mehr said the army had stressed the need for vigilance during a “silent battlefield” and for monitoring enemy actions during the “so-called ceasefire”.
