Video: Erika Kirk evacuated in tears following White House shooting

ALBAWABA - Chaos erupted during the most recent White House Correspondents’ Dinner when shots were fired during the event, causing the evacuation of US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance. 

Videos flooded social media, capturing the moment of the shooting, including the evacuation of Turning Point USA's CEO, Erika Kirk, who was in tears, while allegedly saying, "I just want to go home."

A social media user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "You can understand why she's so upset when just months ago she had to bury her husband who was killed by the same senseless political violence that happened tonight. Prays for her and her family!" 

Another added, "That would be a huge trigger. No pun intended. Until you survive tragedy or the tragic loss of a loved one you have no idea what it’s like. Pray for Erica and her family."

Who is 31-year-old Cole Tomas Allen?

The suspected shooter was identified as Cole Tomas Allen, who was armed with a shotgun, a handgun, and multiple knives, police said. According to several reports, Allen was also identified as a 31-year-old from Torrance, California. 

The police were able to arrest Allen and place him in custody after "charging" through the security checkpoint and past law enforcement officers, law enforcement officials said Saturday.

Videos of the moment flooded social media platforms, including footage of Trump, Vance, and First Lady Melania being swiftly evacuated by the Secret Service.
