Venezuela Fury fires back at critics over backlash to wedding at 16 years old: 'I ain't bothered!'

Venezuela Fury has hit back at critics who questioned her decision to marry at just 16, insisting she is unbothered by the backlash surrounding her whirlwind romance with husband Noah Price.

The daughter of heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury addressed the controversy during an appearance on ITV's This Morning.

"I think, as long as it's not my family or my friends, they're the people what matter to me, I ain't bothered," she told the programme.

The 16-year-old, who stars alongside her famous family in the Netflix series At Home With The Furys, acknowledged her age but defended her choice to settle down young.

"But yes, I am young, but I found the person I want, and I've carried on with my life. Everyone's got to start somewhere, so I started young," she added.

Venezuela married amateur boxer Noah Price, 19, on the Isle of Man last month in a lavish ceremony attended by family and friends.

The couple chose the island because its marriage laws differ from those in England and Wales, allowing 16-year-olds to marry with parental consent.

In England and Wales, the legal age for marriage is 18, with underage marriages prohibited regardless of whether parents approve.

The legal distinction meant the teenage couple were able to exchange vows despite Venezuela still being under 18.

Noah told This Morning that he knew from the outset their relationship was serious.

"I didn't want to mess her about, I thought she was perfect," he said.

The boxer revealed that he was his wife's first boyfriend and that he immediately saw a future with her.

"I just thought, one day, she's going to be my wife," he said, describing their wedding as making "the dream come true".

Venezuela said married life had been everything she hoped for so far, explaining that the pair spend all of their time together.

"I'm loving it," she said, adding that she has been learning to cook as she adjusts to life as a wife.

The interview comes days after the teenager appeared distinctly unimpressed when Noah joked about the size of their marital home during a social media livestream.

"Why did you get me such a tiny house? Oh, cause you bought it!" Noah quipped as the pair filmed themselves inside their static caravan.

Venezuela ignored the comments, choosing instead to sing along to music while viewers watched the awkward exchange unfold.

The couple currently live in a two-bedroom static caravan on a gated compound near Chesterfield, Derbyshire.

Questions remain over who purchased the £46,995 property, with reports varying over whether it was bought by Noah or gifted by Tyson and Paris Fury as a wedding present.

Claims have also circulated that Tyson and Paris gave the newlyweds £5million to help them start married life, although Noah has strongly denied receiving such a sum.

"No, Tyson did not give me £5million," he said during a previous livestream.

Despite the scrutiny surrounding their marriage, the teenage couple appear unfazed, with television executives said to be already considering them for their own reality series following growing public fascination with their relationship.
