US airports face long delays amid partial government shutdown

Approximately, 50,000 TSA workers have gone without pay since mid- February, leading to long lines and record wait times at airports due to many calling out sick. Officials in the Department of Homeland Security say hundreds of TSA workers have quit since the shutdown began and they say the situation will get worse for workers and travelers if Congress doesn’t act soon.
