Under Orange Foundation Global & “Madrasati” Umbrella: Digital Schools’ Students Excel in WikiChallenge International Competition

W.N-For excelling at the global WikiChallenge 2026 competition, Orange Jordan Foundation celebrated the recognition of  schools under the “Digital Schools” program sponsored by the Orange Foundation (Global), the social innovation advocate and corporate social responsibility arm of the Orange Group, in collaboration with Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah initiative, “Madrasati”. Seven schools under the umbrella of the program participated in the competition, showcasing remarkable creativity that demonstrates the importance of integrating technology into education. The “Digital Schools” program has equipped 10 public schools across Jordan with 15 digital education packages, each containing 25 tablets and 30 various digital devices. More than 3600 students from the first to sixth grades benefited from the program, demonstrating the company’s dedication to building a rising generation and driving meaningful transformation within the Kingdom’s educational journey. Honoring them, Sumaya Primary Mixed School was awarded for its article on Wadi Rum, along with Sama Al-Rousan Elementary Mixed School for its article on Petra, and Asma Bint Yazeed Secondary School for its article on Umm Qais. This achievement reflects the Orange Foundation’s commitment to its social responsibility and its continued efforts to empower students, foster digital knowledge, and create a positive, sustainable impact on society. The annual challenge, launched in 2017, involves collaboration between students to write articles in an encyclopedic style, shedding light on their local regions, cultures, and landmarks.
