Ukrainian Defense Ministry advisor injured in Russian drone attack

ALBAWABA - Ukraine reported that military communications expert and Defense Ministry advisor Serhii Beskrestnov was injured in a drone strike by Russia.

According to Kyiv Independent, a drone attack targeted Serhii Beskrestnov's home outside Kyiv overnight on April 20.

In detail, Ukrainian media reported, citing Serhii Beskrestnov's Facebook post, that four jet-powered Shahed-type drones targeted the home of the Defense Ministry advisor in Kyiv Oblast.

He posted a statement on Facebook the following morning along with a selfie from the hospital.

"This is the first time I've seen the enemy try to eliminate someone using Shahed-type drones in such a targeted manner," Beskrestnov revealed on national television.

The official further mentioned that his house and cars were damaged in the Russian drone attack.
