Services were immediately disrupted, with trains bypassing the terminal as emergency crews rushed in.An eyewitness told PIX11 News that officers were shouting at the suspect to drop the blade moments before gunshots rang out. “When I got there, police had their guns drawn and were yelling at someone to put the knife down,” they said.Article continues belowShocking footage from the scene appears to show a long-bladed weapon lying on the platform near the suspect, who was left on the ground after being shot. Other images show bloodied clothing scattered across the floor behind a police cordon.The New York Fire Department confirmed two victims were rushed to hospital in critical condition. The suspect’s identity and condition have not yet been released.
