‘Turning their noses up!’ Ellie Costello and Alex Armstrong slam Labour ministers dodging GB News scrutiny
المصدر: GB News | Source: GB NewsEllie Costello and Alex Armstrong have shared their frustration over Labour ministers dodging scrutiny from GB News.
The Breakfast presenters said it was a “familiar story” and issued a warning to the Government amid a leadership crisis for Keir Starmer.
“Darren Jones, the Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister, is out doing the media rounds this morning,” Ellie began.
“Unfortunately, he does not have time to speak to GB News this morning. It is a familiar story.
“Perhaps if they had come on and spoken to the people watching GB News, maybe their message would have been out there a lot more effectively.”
“We are willing to talk to you,” Alex insisted.
“Your colleagues are constantly here on GB News. We speak to many of them.
“Those who do decide to come on GB News and speak to our audience, speak to the working-class people of the country who watch GB News in their droves - People in Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, England.
“This is a party, a Government that doesn't seem to want to listen. It almost feels like they turn their noses up at them and say, ‘It doesn't matter what you think; we're going to focus on ourselves."
“I will say a warning. It didn't go very well for the Conservative Party when they looked inwards. And that is exactly what this government has unfortunately been doing,” Alex added.
