başkenti Amman'da gerçekleştirilen görüşmeler neticesinde, tutukluların serbest bırakılması konusunda mutabakata varılmasının memnuniyetle karşılandığı belirtildi. "İlgili tüm tarafların sürece sundukları katkıları takdirle karşılıyoruz. Söz konusu mutabakatın, Yemen’deki ihtilafa kapsamlı bir siyasi çözüm bulunması yönündeki gayretlere ivme kazandırmasını temenni ediyoruz. Türkiye, Yemen’in toprak bütünlüğü ve ulusal birliğinin muhafazası ile ülkede kalıcı barışın teminine yönelik çabalara olan desteğini sürdürecektir." Yemen hükümetinin müzakere heyeti başkanı yardımcısı Yahya Muhammed Kezman, ABD merkezli X platformundaki hesabından yaptığı açıklamada, Amman'da Husiler ile "tarihin en büyük esir takası anlaşmasının imzalandığını" belirtmişti. Anlaşmanın her iki taraftan toplam 1728 kişinin serbest bırakılmasını kapsadığını belirten Kezman, bu kişiler arasında Husilerin uzun yıllar hapishanede tuttuğu asker ve güvenlik güçlerinin yanı sıra bazı siyasetçi ve gazetecilerin de bulunduğunu kaydetmişti.
