Donald Trump says that he refused to directly answer Chinese President Xi Jinping when asked if the United States would defend Taiwan if they were attacked by China . Asked by a reporter if he would do so, the President again refused to say. He said: "There's only one person that knows and it's me. I'm the only person that knows.
