The public was urged to stay away from the scene while a large-scale rescue operation was conducted, involving the police force, Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service, North West Ambulance Service, HM Coastguard and local mountain rescue teams.Cumbria Police confirmed on Tuesday night that a body had been found and the death was not being treated as suspicious.Article continues below"The thoughts and condolences of the entire rescue team are with the male’s family and friends who are being supported by detectives," Supt Patrick O'Hara said.
