Tragedy as body of man in his 30s found behind Heron Foods in Stockton

Emergency services have rushed to the scene after the body of a man in his 30s was behind a supermarket. Police, paramedics and firefighters were called to Heron Foods, in Roseworth, Stockton, on Teesside, following reports that a man had been seen on the ground behind the store. Cleveland Police has now confirmed a man’s body was found behind the store. It is understood a scenes of crime officers attended but the force has confirmed the man's death is not being treated as suspicious. A spokesperson for the force said: "The body of a man, believed to be in his 30s, was sadly found yesterday afternoon, Friday 24th April, on Redhill Road in Roseworth, Stockton (behind Heron Foods shop). "The death of the man, believed to be in his 30s, is not being treated as suspicions at this time. The man’s next of kin have been informed and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
