'Too fat.' 'Yes I like Asians': Truck driver's grubby posts come to light as he's accused of murdering Thai teenager and shoving her body in a suitcase

Simon Peter Carman, 45, from Perth's south, was arrested after the body of 17-year-old Tunchanok Donhomla was found inside a black suitcase near railway tracks just outside Pattaya on Friday night. Police allege the British-born tradesman placed the teen's naked body into the suitcase before dumping it in long grass. Carman was arrested at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi International Airport minutes before he allegedly tried to board a Jetstar flight to Perth. He has since been charged with four offences, including murder, which can carry the death penalty or life imprisonment in Thailand. Carman denies the allegations and claims he acted in self-defence. Amid the increased scrutiny on Carman's lifestyle before the charges, his online interactions with young Asian women on Threads have emerged online. When a woman shared a selfie in a busty mini-dress and asked if she was his type of girl, he said: 'Too fat.' He denies the allegations  In his most recent interaction on Threads, Carman told a woman that she was too fat Carman's online interactions with young Asian women in the months before his arrest have emerged online In a separate post, a young woman wearing only an oversized jumper asked: 'I think I like you. Do you like Asians?' A third woman shared a video of herself posing for the camera and asked if she could text him, to which Carman replied: 'Yes definitely.' Carman appeared to strike up several conversations with women on the app by repeatedly replying to their posts with: 'Hello Gorgeous, how are you doing? Where are you located?' He also wrote in other messages that he was a 45-year-old from Perth living in Thailand and used a younger photo as his profile picture. It comes as Thai investigators continue to probe the death of Ms Donhomla, including detailing Carman's movements hours after the alleged murder. Police allege Carman spent the day doing laundry, eating breakfast, shopping and chatting with people in the hotel foyer before he later disposed of the suitcase containing the teen's body.  Carman is accused of killing Tunchanok Donhomla (pictured), whose body was found inside a black suitcase near railway tracks just outside Pattaya on Friday night  Carman used a younger photo of himself as his profile picture on Threads Carman appeared to repeatedly use the same message to start conversations with women on social media, saying: 'Hello Gorgeous, how are you doing? Where are you located?' CCTV showed Carman riding a rented scooter through the streets of Pattaya with a suitcase strapped to the back. 'From around 3.30am until about 9pm, when he disposed of the body, he appeared to go about his daily routine as usual,' Pattaya City Police Colonel Anek Srathongyoo alleged to Nine Newspapers. 'He went downstairs to buy food, bought some groceries, did his laundry – everything seemed completely normal. 'Then we came to the part of the footage where he's with the suitcase. 'But instead of leaving through the front entrance, he exited through the back door.' Separate footage also showed Carman picking up Ms Donhomla on the streets of Pattaya on the night of her death. A male friend of the teen filmed Ms Donhomla walking with Carman and later passed the footage to police after she was reported missing. The footage allowed police to track down CCTV of Carman before he was stopped at the airport the following day. The night before his arrest, CCTV showed Simon Carman riding a scooter through the streets of Pattaya with a suitcase strapped to the back of the vehicle Hotel footage captured Ms Donhomla shortly before she was allegedly killed  Colonel Srathongyoo also alleged Ms Donhomla messaged friends after she arrived at Carman's apartment on the night of her death. 'I've arrived at [his] apartment. The room is so messy,' the message reportedly read. Colonel Srathongyoo told SBS Thai she had sent the message so that her friends knew 'she had arrived so they didn't have to worry'. Police found the dumped suitcase hours after Carman's arrest.  Carman has denied he murdered Ms Donhomla, and claimed he acted in self-defence. He addressed the teen's family after his arrest, saying he felt 'bad' about the incident.  'I feel bad for what happened to your daughter. It was out of my control,' Carman said.  'I know you'll be very sad, upset, same, same me. It shouldn't happen, and I hope you're OK. I know you're not, but I hope, and please tell other girls … to be careful.'  Carman has denied he murdered Ms Donhomla, and claimed he acted in self defence Tributes have been laid where Ms Donhomla's body was found inside a black suitcase The teen's grieving father Thongchai Donhomla and stepmother Ordee Butrakhamare travelled from their home in Thailand's northeastern Kalasin province after learning of their daughter's death. They called for Carman to be executed. 'I am deeply saddened,' Mr Donhomla told Thailand's TMN Cable TV Pattaya. 'My daughter had no mother so whenever she wanted anything, she would find a way herself and she always helped me too.  'She was a good kid. Whenever she wanted anything, she would find a way herself, and she always helped me, too. She never bothered me.' His wife added: 'I told the police I want him executed. As a stepmother I don't know what else to say. I just want him executed.' Thailand retains the death penalty for the most serious offences, including premeditated murder, although executions are carried out relatively rarely.
