2.10 Chester - Masked Warrior and Startled head the market

The feature Ladbrokes Get More With Racing Bet Builder Handicap is a wide-open contest where Masked Warrior and Startled have been popular in the early markets.

The William Haggas-trained Masked Warrior ran out a ready winner of a novice at Kempton and, with the cheekpieces retained, he switches to handicaps off a mark of 89.

Startled has three wins from six starts on the turf and he rarely runs a bad race. He did not have the cleanest of passages at Goodwood when second last time and could build on that despite a 2b rise in the weights.

Several have each-way claims including Comic Hero and Penny Time, who returns after being gelded. Hugo Palmer's three-year-old has not been out of the first two past the post on any of his three starts - although he was disqualified due to an incorrect weight when scoring at Kempton on debut.

1.55 Bath - Havana Sprite seeks to go one better

Havana Sprite spearheads a field of six for the Designer Outlet Style Fillies' Novice Stakes at Bath.

Having made a solid debut at Newmarket, she confirmed she should be winning one of these when runner-up at Yarmouth. This looks an ideal spot for this Valmont-owned daughter of Havana Grey, who is partnered with Jack Callan for James Tate.

Naval Cop makes her racecourse debut for the Andrew Balding yard and - being related to Desert Cop and Desert Law - she is of interest under Callum Hutchinson.

Marralyn has underwhelmed thus far in the Pompey Ventures colours but could improve for Ollie Sangster.

5.42 Uttoxeter - Classy Tellherthename faces four rivals

The opening Peter Watson Memorial Novices' Limited Handicap Chase looks a good opportunity for Tellherthename to land another victory.

Dan Skelton's charge ran with promise without threatening the judge in the Swinton last month before landing a first chasing success at Carlisle. He could be a tough nut to crack as he concedes weight all round.

King Ulanda is the chief threat for the Josh Guerriero and Oliver Greenall team. He was a decisive winner on his fencing bow at Bangor, but is up 10lb in this better heat.

Ballykinlar is worth a mention on chasing and handicap debut, with James Bowen booked to ride.

After a long spell out of the saddle, Pierre-Charles Boudot returns in France when he rides Messager De Faust in Compiegne's Prix des Etangs de Batigny at 11.31am.

On home soil, Bolo Neighs heads a solid field for Chester's opening 1.35pm Saturday Social Handicap before Ultrasoul bids for a hat-trick in a nice-looking Colette, Lynn And Rachel's 50th Birthday Handicap at 3.23pm.

The feature on Chester's undercard is the John Smith's Handicap over the minimum distance, which sees Vintage Clarets lock horns with three-time winner Copper Knight at 4pm.

At Hexham, Passing Diamond will be fancied having struck the last twice for the Ben Haslam team. He has been nudged up to a mark of 109 but that 3lb rise may not be enough to stop him in the Lisa Bond Celebration Handicap Hurdle at 3.40pm.
