By MARYANN MARTINEZ, US TEXAS BUREAU CHIEF Published: 00:38, 23 April 2026 | Updated: 00:39, 23 April 2026 In the sleepy Texas town of Godley, locals value the rural surroundings, safe streets and wholesome encounters with neighbors. Yet behind the doors of one of it's neat brick-fronted properties, prosecutors allege a husband and wife ran a years-long blackmail prostitution ring, in the very home they shared with their three young children. Neighbors told the Daily Mail that Michael Ketcherside, 52, and his wife Ashley, 41, were a 'sweet' and friendly couple, with nothing to suggest the allegations now leveled against them. Photos posted on social media show them on vacations, family days out and at children's birthday parties with their daughter and two sons. Yet behind closed doors, investigators with the Johnson County District Attorney's Office lay out in a criminal complaint and arrest affidavit that Michael pimped out his wife to clients across the surrounding Dallas-Fort Worth area, including to cops. Among Ashley's alleged clients was Godley's former police chief, according to court documents, who investigators claim provided sensitive information about local figures the couple considered enemies. Ashley Ketcherside was arrested last week, while Michael has been in custody since April 8, court records show. The couple are also alleged to have groomed another woman to become a sex worker, the arrest affidavit states. The Daily Mail has learned the couple's three elementary school-aged children have been removed from their school following their parents' arrests and are now living with their mother's family. Neighbors told the Daily Mail that Michael, 52, and his wife Ashley, 41, Ketcherside were a 'sweet' and friendly couple with three young kids  Ashley Ketcherside poses with a sexually suggestive hat on social media where she went by the alias Lola Brea  A man who emerged from the Ketcherside home in Godley, Texas refused to speak to Daily Mail or answer any questions  Ashley is now charged with racketeering, while her husband faces charges of continuous promotion and solicitation of prostitution, as well as racketeering. As news of the arrests spread through the community, neighbors said they were stunned. 'I never knew what was going on over there,' one neighbor, who asked not to be named, said. 'They always been sweet... three kids, three small kids.' The family home sits about 30 minutes outside Fort Worth in Godley - a small town defined by modest older houses, mobile homes and open stretches of farmland. Yet the Ketcherside property stands out as one of the newer builds in a rare modern subdivision in the area. When the Daily Mail visited on Friday, a woman claiming to be the children's teacher arrived at the property and knocked on the door. No one answered. 'I was their teacher and I just wanted to say goodbye,' she said. 'I think they might have left [town.]' A man emerged from the Ketcherside home and opened the garage door of the property to pack belongings into a car. When approached by the Daily Mail, he refused to answer questions, repeatedly yelling 'bye.' Several attempts by Daily Mail to reach the Ketcherside for comment, including reaching out directly and through family members, went unanswered. Five neighbors told us they had no idea anything illicit was taking place inside the home. Ashley Ketcherside was arrested on racketeering charges on April 14. Her husband, Michael Ketcherside (right), was taken into custody on April 8  Ashley Ketcherside had previously been convicted of prostitution in 2012 and 2016 On her X account, Ashley Ketcherside posted a photo where she is wearing a Dallas Cowboys jersey with the name 'Hooker' on the back But prosecutors paint a darker picture than the wholesome family home exterior suggests. After a March 31 raid on the property, the arrest affidavit states investigators uncovered evidence of a 'prostitution conspiracy' between the Ketchersides and multiple clients on electronic devices seized from the home. Authorities also allege the couple coordinated with former Godley Police Chief Matthew Cantrell and other officers to obtain damaging information on individuals they considered enemies. Cantrell allegedly conducted background checks on city officials, school district members and private citizens involved in disputes with Ashley. Online, Ashley has been a polarizing figure. She frequently posted criticisms of the Godley Independent School District and uploaded sexually suggestive videos promoting her OnlyFans account.  In 2023, she was banned from volunteering on sex education committees and coaching a cheerleading group after it emerged she had prior prostitution convictions, Fox 4 reported. In the days following her husband's arrest, Ashley gave an interview to a Dallas television station to proclaim their innocence. 'He's a great husband, an amazing father to my three kids and I believe in the justice system,' she said. 'I'm absolutely no victim of my husband or anybody else. I know that the truth will come out.' When asked if she was prostitute, Ashley told the reporter, 'I feel that two consenting adults should be allowed to do whatever it is that they want to do.'  Former Godley Police Chief Matthew Cantrell and former Police Officer Solomon Omotoya were also arrested after they allegedly solicited Ashley for sex Ashley Ketcherside is interviewed by Dallas TV station Fox 4 on April 8 after her husband, Micheal's arrest She also denied ever charging for sex, despite authorities citing claims from two local police officers who allegedly said they were clients.  The criminal complaint alleges the mom-of-three charged $1,000 an hour, according to CBS News. Escort review sites in the Dallas area reportedly contain references to Ashley spanning more than a decade, including entries as recent as a few months ago. 'I really thought she retired,' one review read. 'I hadn't seen her in 7 years...she hasn't changed a bit, petite spinner and she has a tight body. 'She treats you like a king and tries to make you relax during the appointment. We caught up with each other's lives and can't believe how hot she looks. She started with a sexy show strip tease and then we started to play more.' The criminal complaint reveals Cantrell himself admitted to being a client of Ashley’s and also subscribed to her OnlyFans account. Ashley did not hide the fact that she has kids or a husband when on her pay-to-view, X-rated account. Aside from sharing nude photos, the mom-of-three poses naked in front of her tub, with toddler bath toys clearly visible in the frame. In one OnlyFans video titled #hotwife, she cleans dishes while standing at the kitchen sink while a man gropes her. Her salacious content has only attracted 125 followers. Meanwhile, former Godley police officer Solomon Omotoya allegedly told police he had sex with the mom in exchange for yard work, the criminal complaint reads. After their arrest earlier this month, Omotoya and Cantrell told investigators that other Godley police officers frequently spent time at the Ketcherside's home. In court documents, investigators also claim Ashley was grooming another woman to become a prostitute. The local district attorney has called the investigation into the Ketcherside's activity 'on going' and said he anticipated there would be more arrests. No comments have so far been submitted.
