It has emerged he was already dead by the time a lifeguard on a jet ski reached him and handed him over to coastguards so his body could be brought to shore.‌A post-mortem is due to take place later today but well-placed sources said there were no external signs of violence on the Brit's body and his death wasn’t being treated as suspicious at this stage. It was picked up by a beach lifeguard jet ski, which took it to the Salvamar Menkalinan which then transported it to San Juan Beach, where the authorities took charge."
