Teenage girl fights for life after joyride in allegedly stolen car ends in crash - as her mate, 14, is also rushed to hospital

Published: 04:12, 30 July 2026 | Updated: 04:12, 30 July 2026 A teenage girl has been left fighting for life while a second has been rushed to hospital after an allegedly stolen car crashed in Melbourne's south-east. Two 14-year-olds were travelling north in a Honda Jazz on Peninsula Link at 10.15pm on Wednesday. The driver lost control when the vehicle rolled numerous times and crashed near the Cranbourne-Frankston Road exit.  Victoria Police said the teenage driver was wedged free from the overturned Honda Jazz and rushed to The Royal Children's Hospital with critical upper body injuries.
