A North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) spokesperson said crews were called at 12.49pm on Thursday, April 16, to reports of a person injured at the site on Sniperley Farm Road.‌"We dispatched an ambulance crew, a specialist paramedic, two clinical team leaders, and a duty officer to the scene, and requested support from our colleagues at the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) who attended by road," the statement adds. "We transported one patient to the RVI for further treatment."The boy remains in a critical condition at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle and his family are being supported by specially trained officers, Durham Police said.‌An investigation has been launched by the Health and Safety Executive, who is working alongside officers to establish the circumstances leading up to the horror incident.An Esh Group spokesperson said: "Esh Group is presently assisting Police, and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) in relation to a serious incident that took place yesterday on the Sniperley Park site on which groundworks...
