Sydney Sweeney and American Eagle are reuniting, with the "Euphoria" star donning a line of summer-ready jean shorts in her second campaign for the company.

Sweeney appears in the commercials, titled "Syd for Short: American Eagle Jean Shorts," without the second half of her name or the lower part of her pants, wearing cutoffs, a baby tee, and a breezy button-up blouse.

In the commercial video, the star asks the camera, "What brand am I wearing?" with a fun tone. "Yeah, that one."

The commercials, like Sydney Sweeney's first AE collaboration, feature customized denim styles to assist Crisis Text Line, a nonprofit organization that offers 24/7 mental health care. The nonprofit will receive 100% of the net proceeds from the Syd Jean and Syd Short, both of which have butterfly detailing honoring domestic violence survivors.

"A great pair of jean shorts has a timeless appeal." They're simple, but they make you feel confident and put together without trying too hard," Sweeney said in a press release.

"Crisis Text Line, a cause near to my heart, has been a part of this collaboration since the beginning. I enjoy knowing that when everyone wears our things, they are also contributing to something worthwhile, which directly benefits those in need."

Sydney Sweeney's first American Eagle campaign, which debuted in July 2025, was equally denim-focused.

However, the advertisements, which hailed the 28-year-old star's "Great Jeans," swiftly stirred controversy due to their play on the word "gene."

In a press release following the backlash, which Sweeney described as "surreal," American Eagle defended its hero, whose unique designs for the brand sold out in mere days.

"We'll continue to celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence, their way," the statement said. "Great jeans look good on everyone."

And the actress' campaign was the brand's "most successful to date," according to the firm, which generated $1.28 billion in revenue during the quarter in which her advertisements were released.

"Sweeney is a winner," AE Chief Marketing Officer Craig Brommers stated during an earnings call.

It appears that other retailers are taking note. Sweeney's lingerie line, Syrn, debuted earlier this year with support from none other than Jeff Bezos.
