Published: 23:21, 11 June 2026 | Updated: 23:21, 11 June 2026 A childcare worker has been charged after allegedly assaulting a baby boy at a centre in Sydney's north.  The alleged incidents took place at a childcare centre in Warriewood, where police claim a 53-year-old worker assaulted a 10-month-old boy on May 26 and 27. The woman was sacked on May 27 after the alleged incidents were reported to management. She was arrested at a home in Mona Vale on Thursday afternoon and charged with five counts of common assault. She was granted conditional bail and is due to appear in Manly Local Court on July 15.
