Sport Mediaset claim Jorge Mendes is trying to engineer a swap deal with Rafael Leao plus cash going to Manchester City, in exchange for Ruben Dias to Milan.
It is no secret that the Rossoneri are trying to find a new solution for Leao, whose contract is running down in 2028 and with nobody seemingly willing to pay €50m plus add-ons.
Can Mendes bring Ruben Dias to Milan?
Super agent Mendes has been engineering most of their transfer strategy this summer, including the arrival of coach Ruben Amorim, striker Goncalo Ramos from Paris Saint-Germain, and now Diego Moreira from RC Strasbourg.
He spent the entire afternoon in the club headquarters, known as Casa Milan.
According to Sport Mediaset, his next proposal will be to send Leao to Manchester City plus cash in exchange for Portugal international defender Ruben Dias.
Milan have already brought in one defender in the form of Mario Gila from Lazio, but are still seeking more reinforcements at the back who understand Amorim’s football.
Ruben Dias just turned 29 in May and has also been linked with a potential move to Real Madrid this summer.
He joined Manchester City from Benfica in a €71.6m deal back in 2020 and is under contract until June 2029.
