Luciano Spalletti shot down Arsenal speculation about Kenan Yildiz. ‘Clubs want to spend €100m, but they can offer whatever they like, his future is already important at Juventus.’
The rumours about a potential Premier League swoop for the Turkish talent have been circulating for a long time, and they continue to swirl around even after he signed a lucrative contract extension.

Ahead of the opening game of the Serie A season tomorrow, Spalletti was asked about the suggestion Arsenal or anyone else might be prepared to slap €100m on the table for Yildiz.
Spalletti adamant on Yildiz future

“I am perfectly relaxed, because dealing with Yildiz is easy for me,” smiled the Juventus coach during his press conference.
“They can offer whatever they like, I want Yildiz here and will always put him on the field. He’s a perfect lad to talk to, he’s mature, and knows he doesn’t need to rush anything.
“His future is already important staying at Juventus, not because there are other clubs who want to spend €100m for him. We are all convinced that we can show the total potential of Kenan, and he is a potential phenomenon of football.
“The fans are convinced too.”
The 21-year-old came to Juventus as a free agent from the Bayern Youth academy in 2022, working his way up quickly through the levels to become a regular in the senior squad.
He grew up idolising Alessandro Del Piero and still copies his goal celebration in the Bianconeri jersey, so is in absolutely no rush to walk away from Turin.
Yildiz signed a new contract in February 2026, which will run to June 2030.
