A snooker fan was thrown out of the Crucible on Saturday night after shouting about the infamous Epstein Files. The second semi-final of this year's World Championship between Northern Ireland's Mark Allen and Chinese star Wu Yize had reached the deciding 33rd frame when a spectator interrupted. Wu, 22, was shaping up to take his shot when a cry of 'never forget the Epstein Files' came out from the crowd. The comment was in reference to Jeffrey Epstein , the late financier and child sex offender. The man, who was pictured being told to leave Sheffield's Crucible but is yet to be identified, shouted about Epstein for a second time before referee Marcel Eckardt ordered them be ejected. "Can you get this person out please? Now please," German official Eckardt said. Other spectators also demanded that he be thrown out immediately. JOIN US ON FACEBOOK! The rising star pulled off a remarkable 17-16 win against Allen, who failed to pot the black with a routine shot which would've sent him through to the final. Wu will now take on 2005 champion Shaun Murphy in the final which gets underway at 1pm on Sunday. Speaking to BBC Two , the 22-year-old admitted that he was 'lucky'. "I feel I am still not recovering from the nerves," Wu confessed. "I feel sorry for Mark. I felt like I was losing the match, especially the second black in that frame. But I was able to take the opportunity. "I gave myself too much pressure in the second session because I was having a big lead in the first session. I wanted to keep the lead down. In the last session I made some mistakes in safety play and then towards the end I was lucky." Meanwhile, Allen was left bemoaning his missed opportunity, having never played in a World Championship final. "You don't deserve to be in a world final if you are missing a ball like that, it's just pure pressure," Allen said. "I had two or three good chances to close out the match but didn't do it. Even though I'm devastated to lose that match, I think the right person is in the world final. I wished him good luck, said he played very well. I think he's going to be a world champion." Wu is aiming to become only the second Chinese player to win snooker's biggest prize. Zhao Xintong lifted the trophy in 2025, but his title defence was ended by Murphy in this year's quarter-finals as the 'Crucible curse' struck again.
