“Kiloluyum ama tahlillerim normal, demek ki sağlıklıyım” düşüncesi uzun süredir tartışılıyor. Ancak yeni bir araştırma, bu rahatlatıcı görünen tablonun gerçeği yansıtmayabileceğini ortaya koydu. Bulgulara göre obez bireylerde tansiyon, diyabet ya da kolesterol gibi klasik uyarı işaretleri henüz ortaya çıkmasa bile; kalp, karaciğer ve böbrek hastalığı riski sağlıklı kilodaki kişilere göre yine de belirgin biçimde yüksek olabiliyor.
