Published: 12:40, 22 May 2026 | Updated: 12:44, 22 May 2026 Sir David Frost's widow Lady Carina Frost is facing a driving ban after she was caught speeding twice in her black Mini.  The 74-year-old, who was married to the broadcaster for 30 years, is accused of breaking the 40mph speed limit on the Great West Road in Chiswick on April 24 last year.  The incident occurred only four miles from her £10million Chelsea townhouse in her black Mini Clubman. Lady Frost did not appear at Lavender Hill Magistrates' Court on Friday, where she was represented by lawyer Mark Haslam. The case was adjourned until July 28. The court heard Lady Frost also faces a second pending speeding prosecution and faces losing her licence.  Speaking in court, Mr Haslam said: 'There is a second outstanding matter of speeding and I am asking to join them all together so the cases can all be dealt with together.' When questioned as to why Lady Frost did not attend court, Mr Haslam explained: 'She is deemed present through me and there is no need for her to attend. 'There is no disrespect intended to the court. Lady Frost was married to television host Sir David Frost from 1983 until his death aged 74 in August 2013. The couple shared three sons.  She was formerly Lady Carina Fitzalan-Howard, the daughter of Miles Fitzalan-Howard, the 17th Duke of Norfolk.  Sir David - known as the host of satirical programme That Was the Week That Was - suffered a fatal heart attack while aboard the Cunard cruise liner, Queen Elizabeth.  Their son, Miles, died of the same heart condition as his father, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in 2015 aged 31. Lady Frost has since dedicated herself to bringing attention to the genetic condition and established the Miles Frost Fund with the British Heart Foundation.  She currently serves as the company director of David Paradine Ltd. -  named after her late husband - but does not hold directorships in the dissolved Frost Holdings Ltd. and Fitzalan Family Ltd.
