Sean Dyche has denied becoming a member of Reform UK in response to a viral social media post. The former Premier League manager has shut down an A.I.-generated image and post, insisting it is purely misinformation being spread. The 54-year-old coach was most recently in charge of Nottingham Forest . Dyche was appointed by Forest in October but was dismissed four months later . The former Burnley boss won six of his 18 league games at the helm as the club battled relegation . He also claimed four victories in six Europa League matches, helping the team on their way to reaching the semi-finals. However, the experienced manager has been forced to comment on a politics-related issue. Dyche has sought to set the record straight after an image circulated on social media claimed he had become a Reform member. JOIN US ON FACEBOOK! Latest news, analysis and much more on Mirror Football's Facebook page Posting on his Instagram story, Dyche wrote: “Warning to people following…There is an A.I. image going about saying I have joined Reform. NOT TRUE. End of.” Dyche was prompted to respond after a mocked-up image on social media claimed he had joined Reform. The viral post included a fabricated quote, which read: “I’ve always believed in hard work, honesty and putting Britain first. That’s why I’m backing Reform UK.” It is not the first time that the ex-Everton and Burnley manager has been the subject of misattributed quotes. He has also become associated with ‘utter woke nonsense’ memes, despite not using the phrase. In an interview with FourFourTwo last year, Dyche shared his feelings on being part of a meme: “I get asked about this all the time. I wish I’d copyrighted it. “Considering I didn’t actually say it, it does follow me around.” On the pitch, Dyche’s successor at Forest has improved the club’s form since his departure. Vitor Pereira has won four and drawn four of his 10 league games in charge, averaging 1.6 points per game. Forest secured Premier League safety following West Ham United’s defeat to Arsenal at the weekend. Pereira’s side earned a point against Newcastle United in their last match and currently sit seven points above the drop zone with two games remaining.
