MOSCOW, May 13. /TASS/. Sales of new Chinese passenger cars in Russia fell by 14% year-on-year in April 2026 to 47,700 units, according to a study by Gazprombank Autoleasing obtained by TASS. At the same time, the share of Chinese brands in Russia stood at 41% in April, whereas a year earlier it had reached 55%. "In the middle of spring, 47,700 vehicles from China were sold, 6,000 (+14%) more than in March, but 8,000 (-14%) fewer than in April last year," the study said.
