Production is expected to begin later this year. The announcement comes off the back of “Saiyaara,” one of the highest-grossing love stories in Indian cinema history with an INR580 crore ($62 million) gross worldwide. The soundtrack sustained chart presence on streaming platforms well beyond its theatrical run.
