He was fierce, aggressive, and, if you ended up on his bad side, brutal in a tackle; but there is a softer side to Roy Keane . The Manchester United midfielder has swapped raking opposition attackers' knees with his studs for verbally maiming players and managers as a pundit. However, if anyone has seen the softer side of Keane, it's his future son-in-law Taylor Harwood-Bellis. The Southampton defender has an opportunity to make the Irishman even happier, by beating his old rivals Manchester City in this weekend's FA Cup semi-final. Harwood-Bellis will marry Keane's daughter Leah later this year, having got engaged two years ago . The one-cap England international has got to know a more mellow, kinder side to the former midfielder. In an interview with the Sun, the defender said: "He's one of the people, barring my immediate family, who I know for a fact has only my interests in mind. The advice he gives me, I know he's got my full interests at heart, so he has helped me with decisions." When asked if Keane regularly goes to watch him play at St. Mary's, Harwood-Bellis added: "He's been to a few games. He's got his own life, so he's not going to sit around watching me too much. He shows me lots of support and he doesn't say well done too often, unless I've done something special.” FOLLOW OUR MAN UTD FB PAGE! Latest United news and more on our dedicated Facebook page You may assumed Keane would be one of the first people to take himself down to Wembley to watch Harwood-Bellis and his team-mates face City this weekend. However, if the ex-Red Devil does decide he wants to watch his future son-in-law take it to City, he will fork out for his own ticket. On the recent episode of the Stick to Football podcast , Keane, when asked by Gary Neville , Ian Wright and co, whether he will be asking the Saints defender to get him some tickets, said: " You think I’m going to bother him for tickets? No chance." Keane had a similar sense of humour when Harwood-Bellis played for England for the first time. When the Three Lions faced Ireland at Wembley Stadium in a 5-0 victory in the Nations League, Harwood-Bellis memorably rose highest and headed in a goal on his debut. At the time, he had recently proposed to Leah. Keane, who was on punditry duty at the time, jokingly suggested he may pull back his blessing after the Saints defender headed in against his country. He said: " It's not done and dusted yet, things can change really quickly in the Keane household! It's nice for him, it's good for him to make his debut. He is a really good kid and his family have done a great job." Harwood-Bellis and Leah also announced in August last year they were expecting their first baby, which would make Keane a grandfather for the fourth time.
