Rostec expects to begin serial production of import-substituting SSJ-100 aircraft in 2027, CEO of the Russian state tech corporation Sergey Chemezov said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. "Regarding the Superjets, 80% of all flights have been completed, and we plan to receive certification this year. We will begin serial production next year," Chemezov said. Certification flights of the import-substituting SJ-100 aircraft are planned to be completed within the next two to three months, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Gennady Abramenkov said in mid-April. The deputy minister noted that 26 of the 42 contracted aircraft are at various stages of readiness at the Komsomolsk-on-Amur production center. The first 12 aircraft are at a high stage of readiness. The Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ-100) is a short-haul, narrow-body jet airliner with a capacity of 100 passengers. As part of import substitution efforts, the aircraft is equipped with Russian PD-8 engines and domestic avionics.المصدر: TASS | Source: TASS
