Room for improvement but Scotland heading in right directionImage source, SNSImage caption, Scotland won two and lost one of their three summer Tests in the Nations ChampionshipByTom EnglishBBC Scotland's chief sports writerPublished2 minutes agoIn the topsy-turvy world of the Nations Championship, Saturday in Edinburgh was a 'home' game for Fiji and so the place was alive with costume and song, the rhythm of the Pacific Islands.Then it fell fairly silent as the real home crowd - the vast, vast majority of the terrific 55,215 - saw Fiji monster Gregor Townsend's team at every turn - try-count, breakdown, physicality, athleticism. Fiji were outstanding in that first half and Scotland were in a hole.It was a hole they dug themselves out of once Townsend brought in some heavy-hitters from the bench. Pierre Schoeman, Scott Cummings, Sione Tuipulotu and Jamie Dobie accounted for four second half tries between them.
