Republican candidate's 'Christian family values' image cracks as campaign is caught following explicit profiles, including underage girls

By SAMANTHA LOREN, US POLITICAL REPORTER Published: 01:25, 25 July 2026 | Updated: 01:25, 25 July 2026 A Republican hopeful running for governor of Wyoming has been caught following sexually suggestive social media profiles, including accounts that appear to show underage girls, on his official campaign account.  Brent Bien, 58, is running a traditional Christian conservative campaign emphasizing his family and faith, a 30-year marriage to his wife Susan and their three daughters. But the campaign's social media activity suggests otherwise.  Its account has recently unfollowed numerous accounts belonging to or featuring young women. Bien's official campaign Facebook was following the account 'Alexiii' on Facebook that features a provocatively dressed woman who shares a link to another site offering more explicit content. Bien's official campaign Instagram was following two accounts appearing to show minors. One features photos and videos of a teenager dressing and dancing provocatively. An October 2025 post by the account stated it was the girl's 16th birthday. A second account features photos and videos of very young girls dancing. It appears that the Alexii account on Facebook belongs to another woman who goes by Celine Flordegin on Instagram Racy content by Celine Flordegin, who Bien was following on Facebook Bien's official campaign TikTok was following an account which features videos of women, including a photo of a young child. His official campaign X account was following @LittleBlondage, a Wyoming-based user who posts about politics but also shares provocative images. A campaign spokesperson told the Daily Mail: 'Brent is not following the accounts you referenced.' But screenshots obtained by the Daily Mail prior to approaching the campaign show otherwise.   Bien first ran for governor back in 2022, publishing a video to Facebook 'The Brent and Susan Bien story. Faith, Family, and How we met.' With a Bible in hand, Bien tells the story of how he and his wife met and said they 'try very hard to maintain what truly the nuclear family is in trying to instill the Christian values that our country so based upon inside of our own family.' Bien received a boost this week after securing the endorsement of the Wyoming Republican Party. Wyoming’s primary election will be held August 18. It's a political rarity to see a state party split with the President, who has a sterling - if not perfect record - endorsing candidates in Republican primaries.   Bien, a retired US Marine Corps colonel and combat veteran, has built his campaign around a hardline conservative platform, vowing to slash primary residential property taxes by 50 percent, scrap electronic voting machines in favor of hand-counting ballots and launch a sweeping audit of state government spending.  He's also pledged to champion Wyoming's traditional oil, gas and coal industries while opposing the expansion of wind energy, backing local farmers with the slogan 'No Farms, No Food.'  Tying it all together is a promise to defend constitutional rights, medical freedom and Wyoming's sovereignty against what he describes as government overreach. The Daily Mail requested comment from Bien's wife, two of his daughters, his GOP opponents and the Wyoming Republican Party.
