Raja Casablanca Introduces Digital Entry System to End Ticket Fraud
Raja Club Athletic, working alongside public authorities, has announced the rollout of a new fully digital stadium entry system designed to improve security, modernize access procedures, and crack down on black market ticket activity.
This decision is a huge shift in how fans will attend matches. The club is moving away from paper-based tickets and informal access methods toward a controlled, app-based system.
Under the new system, stadium entry will now be strictly limited to digital tickets issued through Raja’s official mobile application.
Supporters have to download the app and register using a personal account to purchase and access tickets. Once confirmed, the ticket will be stored directly in the app and scanned at the stadium entrance.
Season ticket holders are the only exception to this process. They will continue to access matches using their valid membership cards.
The club said that no alternative formats will be accepted. Paper tickets, screenshots, printed copies, or any unofficial versions will be considered invalid.
Strict rules on attendance and ticket ownership
Raja has also introduced tighter regulations around stadium attendance itself. Every person entering the stadium, including children, must hold a valid ticket or access card.
The club made it clear that being in or around the stadium area without valid entry credentials is not permitted under the new system.
Another aspect of the reform is ticket traceability. Each digital ticket is directly linked to a specific location user account, meaning it cannot be transferred or used by another person. This measure is intended to eliminate unauthorized resale and reduce the circulation of duplicate or illegally obtained tickets.
The central objective of the new system is to address the long-standing issues surrounding ticket manipulation and unofficial resale networks that have affected high-demand matches.
By fully digitizing access and linking tickets to verified identities, the club wants to make it way more difficult for intermediaries to exploit demand and resell tickets at inflated prices.
Raja management also pointed out the operational benefits of the system. It will improve crowd flow and reduce congestion at stadium entrances. The club expects a smoother and more organized matchday experience for fans.
The introduction of this system is part of Raja’s recent effort to modernize its operations and align with contemporary standards in sports event management.
The long-term goal is to eventually improve fan services, increasing efficiency, and bringing greater transparency to stadium organization.
