Now 75, Suzi says of the 78-year-old star, who she has worked with extensively and features on her new album, Freedom: “We had this big kiss.”‌The Wild One singer Suzi, who remains great pals with Alice, confesses: “We've always been close and there's always been that underlying thing of fancying each other. As is often the way with good friends, you could go that way but you don't want to… and we actually did.”‌Recalling their clinch, Suzi, who lives in Chelmsford, Essex, with her husband, concert promoter Rainer Haas, but comes from Detroit, Michigan, like Alice, says: “I forget how old I was, maybe 19.
